Central Branch of the London Public Library
251 Dundas Street,
Stevenson and Hunt (B) Room
The second in our series of “Taking DH Off Campus” meetings takes place this Thursday, 15 November, at the London Public Library’s Central Branch, starting at 7pm. This will be an informal meeting of Digital Humanists, digital pedagogues, and anyone interested in sharing or learning more about these subjects! Bring your questions, your thoughts, and your ideas!
The focus of this month’s Taking DH Off Campus meeting will be Digital Pedagogy; we suggest that those attending read this article, “Digital Humanities Made Me a Better Pedagogue: a Crowdsourced Article,” in Hybrid Pedagogy by Leeann Hunter, Pete Rorabaugh, Jesse Stommel, Robin Wharton, and Roger Whitson.
We will also be opening up the discussion to other subjects, so bring your own topic!
Brian Greenspan, Director of the Hypertext and Hypermedia Lab at Carleton University, is our guest speaker in the IDI in Digital Humanities Speaker’s Series next week and will be joining us for the evening event as well.
(And thanks to Kim Martin for organizing the venue!)
