About

Research Group for Electronic Textuality and TheoryThe Research Group for Electronic Textuality and Theory is a largely informal collective of researchers in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Western University in London, Ontario. As members of this group, we share an interest in the application of digital and computer technology to research in the humanities and arts, as well as a desire to explore the theoretical implications of these new technologies in the fields of language, literature, and textuality. In addition to scholarly work in these areas published or presented in conventional forms and venues, the members of RgETT are all actively involved in projects that apply electronic and digital media to research resources, through web portals, databases, linguistics computing, and hypertext editions.

RgETT has a web site, which includes an extensive Resource List of links and information sources for work in the Digital Humanities.

In addition, there is a public Facebook page for the group, upon which are posted periodical links and news items of interest to those working in the field:  search for the “Research Group for Electronic Textuality and Theory” on Facebook, or use this link.

On Twitter, the group uses this handle:  RgETT at Western @RgETTatWestern
